Bloody hell. I’m fine. So I fell off my broom while I was practicing in the garden today, don’t worry about it. Oh, er… don’t mind how sloppy my writing is. I broke my wrist so I have to write with the other hand. But it’s fine. Mum fixed it up nicely. I should be fine by the first game. We’ll beat those bloody Slytherins. I could do it with one hand tied behind my back. Which I might have to do, but we’ll manage.

Oh, shoot. I still need to write that Potions essay due next year. Maybe Snape will excuse me from that…

I should start writing.

Oy! How high did you fall from?

Dunno. I wasn't counting the meters on my way down! It was pretty bloody high. Mum pitched a fit.

Oy, lucky you only got a broken wrist, then! I once fell out of a tree and ended up cracking my head open. My mum pitched a fit, too.
